In addition to skillfully leading guided meditation experiences, Joan gives inspiring talks about the challenges of everyday life and of the importance of having a consistent contemplative practice to become compassionate and conscious in our relationships with ourselves and others,working and at home.

  • Yoga Therapy for individuals with issues of chronic pain, physical or emotional dis-ease (90-120 mins)

This unique form of therapeutic healing work integrates holistic psychotherapy, conscious dialogue and instruction in yoga, meditation and other healing modalities.This powerful work can enable you to access deeper levels of consciouslness and open to your creativity, intuition and insight, allowing healing to occur on a different and deeper level.

STRESS MANAGEMENT:
TOOLS FOR HEALTHY, CONSCIOUS LIVING

Learn about stress and its relationship to your health
  • Discuss practical ideas and practices that reverse
    the stress cycle, promote a sense of balance, improve concentration and ones ability to deal faces life's challenges
  • Principles for conscious living will be discussed and guided
  mediations with be lead, followed by group sharing.

Each session will include 90 minutes of discussion, guided
experience & interactive support for successfully lowering stress

MEDITATION:
THE POWER OF MIND OVER STRESS

  • Learn the basics for developing a meditation practice
  • Discuss and explore the benefits of learning to meditate
  • Receive instruction in several methods for meditating
  • Experience first-hand the powerful effects meditation has
  • Share your insights with others in a supportive group setting
  • Deepen your understanding of the power and potential in cultivating your own meditation practice
  • Consider ways for you to create your own time to meditate

Each 90-minute session will integrate instructional presentation,
discussion and group experiential learning
